1. General Information
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with CJ’s Kitchen (“we”, “our”, “us”), located at The Grand, The Leas, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2XL.

1.3 By placing an order, you (“customer”, “you”) agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Food Preparation and Allergens
2.1 All dishes are made to order based on advance orders for specific cooking days.
2.2 While we list allergens for each dish, we do not operate a nut-free kitchen and cannot guarantee that any food will be allergen-free or free from cross-contamination.
2.3 Customers are responsible for informing us of any dietary requirements or allergies when placing their order.
3. Ordering and Delivery
3.1 Weekly menus are released on Saturdays, and orders may be placed for delivery on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
3.2 The cut-off time for placing an order is 6pm the day before the respective cooking day. For example, orders for Tuesday must be placed by 6pm on Monday.
3.3 Orders can be placed for multiple days’ menus. Each order will be prepared fresh and delivered on its respective day.
3.4 Deliveries are limited to Folkestone, Sandgate, and Hythe. Customers ordering by phone may collect their orders if pre-arranged.
4. Payment
4.1 Payments must be made by card at the time of order via Stripe.
4.2 Cash on delivery is not accepted for website orders but may be pre-arranged for phone orders.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellations can be made via email or phone.
5.2 If an order has not yet been prepared on the day of delivery, it will be cancelled, and a full refund will be issued.
5.3 If an order has already been prepared for delivery, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
5.4 For complaints or issues with food quality, please contact us via email or phone to resolve the matter.
6. Special Requests and Substitutions
6.1 Customers may include special requests with their order. While we will make every effort to accommodate these requests, we cannot guarantee they will be fulfilled.
6.2 If the wrong order is delivered, we will rectify the issue as soon as possible or offer a refund for the missing item(s).
6.3 If we are unable to fulfil an order, customers will be contacted and offered an alternative or a full/partial refund.
7. Food Freshness and Storage
7.1 Guidance on storing and consuming food is provided on our website. Customers must follow these recommendations to ensure food safety.
7.2 We disclaim liability for any health issues arising from improper storage or consumption beyond the recommended time frame.
8. Privacy Policy
8.1 Customer details are collected for the purpose of fulfilling orders and, if opted in, for email marketing.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
9.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
9.2 Customers must review and agree to the terms and conditions each time they place an order.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
